Administrative Assistant II

|Description:||The Administrative Assistant II works under the general guidance of the Business Office in the performance of a variety of tasks (analysis, generation, and entry of business office reports such as program planning, proposal pricing, financial management, cost analysis) in accordance with the company’s contracts with the government and/or civilian organizations. The position requires the ability to work independently on projects requiring research and preparation of financial data, charts, and other presentation materials. Technical skills include the ability to work with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook on personal computers.
Research, evaluate, and implement business office processes (purchasing support, material receiving support, and travel and training point of contact, SF533 generation support, completing estimates in database).
Assignments originate from the general guidance from the Business Office in direct support of other office requirements. May provide guidance to subordinates based on organizational goals and company policy. Independently performs project assignments. Work is reviewed in terms of meeting the organization's objectives, schedules and financial goals. This position is considered Professionally Exempt.|
|Qualifications:||Must be able to use mathematical skills/statistical techniques to calculate business office required statistical values. Must be capable of developing/improving processes or solving highly complex process problems.
Requires significant direct experience, specific training, and ability to perform work within a prescribed range of technical expertise required to meet customer needs.
Must be experienced with:
• Deltek Costpoint
• Interfacing with travel agencies in support of direct travel requests.
Education: BS Degree required in a related discipline or equivalent education with 2-4 years’ experience.|
